Technical Safeguards

  • Triple Packaging Protocol: All biohazardous materials are transported in accordance with IATA and DOT regulations using a primary leak-proof container, secondary leak-proof packaging with absorbent material, and a rigid outer secondary container.

  • Encrypted Communication: All dispatch and delivery updates occur over 256-bit AES encrypted channels. We do not use unsecured SMS for Protected Health Information (PHI).

  • Fleet Security: Vehicles are equipped with integrated GPS tracking, remote-wipe technology for mobile devices, and active climate monitoring for all storage compartments.

    Refrigerated: 2 to 8 degrees Celsius (Critical for vaccines and blood products).

    • Base Rate:$30.00 – $45.00 per stop (within 0–10 miles).

    • Mileage Surcharge:$1.40 – $1.90 per mile (starts after the initial 10 miles).

    • Daily Route Package: If a client (like a local lab) books a 4-hour window with 5–8 stops, $185.00 – $250.00.

  • Time-sensitive specimen delivery from patient service centers to core labs with <60 minute local response times in the Fredericksburg area.

    • STAT Base Rate: $90.00 – $160.00 (covers the first 10 miles).

    • Rush (2–4 Hour Window): $45.00 – $75.00 base rate.

    • Urgency Surcharge: Add $30.00 – $50.00 for "90-minute" or "Immediate" response tiers

  • Secure transport of paper charts and high-resolution diagnostic imaging (CDs/Hard Drives) using tamper-evident, opaque security packaging.
